COMPANY H&E
Successful solutions with a history
In 1973, Walter Eich and Bernhard Hengstebeck found the company "Hengstebeck & Eich GmbH & Co. Maschinenbau" in the new central industrial area of Frielentrop in Finnentrop. This was the beginning of what is now a renowned company in the field of special machine construction. Even back then, Hengstebeck & Eich was already developing individual special machines at the customer's request.
1977 Four years after the company was founded, the production area of a separate welding shop was expanded.
In 1980, the second expansion took place with the addition of a new assembly hall. In addition, the office space was increased due to the rising construction costs.
1987 Bernhard Hengstebeck leaves the company, making Walter Eich the sole owner and managing director. 1988 Start of the complete renewal of the machinery and introduction of the first CNC machines.
1993 Another office extension was completed with the introduction of CAD design.
1999 Addition of a new assembly hall for final assembly and testing of the manufactured machines. At this time, the production area has increased by 8 times its original size.
In 2004, Walter Eich's son Ingo Eich becomes the second managing director. Ingo Eich, a graduate engineer, discovered his skill and understanding of complex technical interrelationships at an early age. He also brought his expertise to the company at an early stage. Ingo Eich studied mechanical engineering at the same time as working full-time in his father's company. The family constellation with father and son is a great advantage for the company. It enables short decision-making paths.
2005 Enlargement of the office complex due to the necessary capacity expansion in the design office and administration as well as continuous modernization of the machinery.
2013 Expansion and complete modernization of the central hall aisle of the mechanical production and paint shop.
