Broaching machines are another type of machine in the field of metal-cutting machines. Hengstebeck & Eich's broaching machines can be used to produce internal and external profiles, such as those required for the production of complex steel and aluminum components. The broaches can either be pulled or pressed through the bore of the workpiece. We produce broaching machines for our customers in both horizontal and vertical configurations.
Broaching machines from Hengstebeck & Eich are characterized by a long service life and optimum guidance of the broaching tool during the broaching process. In this way, high-quality internal square or hexagonal edges as well as grooves, various profiles, internal serrations and special profiles can be produced.

Tension and pressure broaching machines
Pressure broaching machines:
Pressure broaching machines are particularly suitable for the production of small and medium series, whereby the high load on the broach must always be taken into account. Pressure broaching is also only possible for small workpieces that do not exceed the maximum stroke height of the machine. Pull broaching enables significantly higher cutting speeds than push broaching and is particularly recommended for the production of large series.
Broaching machines:
The broaching machines we manufacture can be equipped with up to three broaches. This convenient equipment enables three workpieces to be clamped and processed simultaneously, making the broaching process particularly efficient and economical. The combination of push and pull broaching at the same time can also be realized on modern broaching machines from H&E.

We produce broaching machines for our customers in both horizontal and vertical configurations, whereby either push broaching, pull broaching or a combination of both broaching methods can be used.
