Hydraulic shears specially designed for cutting round or square bars and round or square billets. No problem for H&E: these machines stand for high quality, efficiency and precision in metalworking. The steel bar shears and billet shears from H&E guarantee precise cuts with a clean cutting edge. Before the cutting process, the material is clamped with a hydraulic or mechanical hold-down device to minimize inaccuracies and length differences. For applications that require a precise right angle, a hydraulic counter-holder is used to ensure a particularly accurate cut.

  • Round bars and square bars: With diameters from 10 mm to 200 mm or dimensions from 10 mm to 180 mm

Functions

The shears can be operated both manually and fully automatically:

  • Automatic operation: The cutting process is triggered by pre-feeding the material in front of a contact length stop.
  • Manual operation: Depending on the workpiece length and safety equipment, the cutting process is triggered by a foot switch or two-hand operation.

H&E also supplies round bar separators and separators for square profiles as well as feed systems to automate the bar and billet shears and increase productivity.
