4-column presses

The 4-column presses from Hengstebeck & Eich are known for their bending stiffness and particularly solid column guidance. Depending on the requirements and diameter of the columns, the press ram is guided either on guide bushes coated with Lamina or on guide bushes made of high-quality bronze alloys.

In the case of highly loaded and highly dynamic four-column presses, the machine table and the cylinder support bridge (upper crossbeam) are connected to each other in a force-fit and form-fit manner using stable stiffening plates. This concept offers significant advantages over conventional four-column frames, as it considerably increases the stability of the press frame. This enables economical and precise work at a high level and is particularly suitable for the use of complex cutting sequence tools.

We also offer the replacement of existing four-column presses, with a significant increase in pressure force, as well as special presses in four-column design for integration into existing production systems.

All four-column presses from H&E are manufactured precisely to the customer's specific requirements. The presses are developed and built using the latest technologies. The machine bodies are calculated using the finite element method (FEM) and designed using CAD software. High-quality hydraulic drives from Parker or Bosch Rexroth and special sealing systems guarantee smooth and stick-slip-free operation.
