Bringing coils into the correct position
H&E produces everything from coil turners, coil turning devices, coil turning tables and coil tilters to coil tilters. Depending on the machining process and machine design, coils must be fed or transported in a horizontal or vertical position for further processing. With the help of the coil turning device from Hengstebeck & Eich, even heavy coils can be easily and safely tilted from a horizontal to a vertical position and vice versa.

We also manufacture mobile and stationary turning devices with which coils weighing up to 42 tons can be turned or tilted. Mobile or rotating coil turners are also part of H&E's range of services. The coil turners can be produced with either a motorized or hydraulic drive. On request, we can equip the turning devices with an integrated lifting table or a mobile platform. With such an all-round solution, both the tilting and lifting process and the transportation of the coils to the loading and unloading position can be carried out in a single operation. The tilting angle of the coil turning device is usually 90°. We can also realize deviating angles and other special designs for you if required.
