Automatic specimen-taking station with HMST 1000 S Conti annealer for the production of specimens for technological materials testing. The specimen punching tools are used to punch longitudinal, transverse and diagonal specimens in accordance with EN 10002.

The following operations run automatically on the coordinated production units:

• Placing the sample panels on a pull-out conveyor belt
• Labeling the sample panels
• Detection of deformed sample panels
• Handling of the n.i.O. sample sheets into a storage container or handling of the i.O. sample sheet to the Y-centering device
• Placing on the material support table and aligning the sample plate in the y-axis
• Clamping the sample panel with the pneumatic clamps of the linear positioning unit
• Labeling the individual samples to be punched out
• Punching out the individual samples
• Conveying out the samples and removing the punching grid
• Depositing or ejecting the punching grid according to the program
