The machine shown here is a special design for cutting sheet metal on both sides with high precision. The parallelism of the cuts is accurate to less than 0.1 mm. The system is designed to cut two different types of sheet metal, which differ in length. The tongs position the sheet to obtain the desired width. Offcuts can also be "chopped" accordingly. The buffer store is used for intermediate storage of the sheet sections. Tongs and grippers load and unload the buffer.

The end product: The finished cut sheets are used to build refrigerated trailers for trucks.
