The hydraulic frame press is designed as a locking press for hydrostatic sheet metal forming.
The closing movement takes place via fast stroke cylinders. Once the tool is closed, locking elements are moved transversely. As a result, the closed die is supported upwards and downwards by the press body. The die closing forces are realized via the water-hydraulic cylinders integrated in the press table and the press ram.
