The HSP 220 hydraulic four-column press has a stroke measuring system for the press stroke. The travel positions for start/stop feeds and the end positions of the press ram are entered via a control unit. Stiffening plates are bolted to the front and long sides of the press frame to reinforce the hydraulic four-column press and prevent it from twisting.
