Hydraulic flat material shears with automatic, motorized cutting gap adjustment, hydraulic hold-down device with measuring system for automatic material thickness measurement, material support table, servomotor-driven adjustable backgauge and a transport and push-off system for the cut samples and offcuts. The control unit is used to preselect the program, enter data for the backgauge position and display the operating status and messages in plain text. The cutting gap adjustment is activated automatically depending on the measured material thickness. The work sequence is triggered by operating the two-hand control. The hydraulic unit is designed as an auxiliary unit.
