The hydraulic single-column presses are designed for upgrading and calibrating end caps for high-voltage fuses. They can be operated individually. In the first step, the pneumatic handling system loads the press in which the expanding tool is installed. In the next step, the handling system removes the expanded end cap and places it on a conveyor belt to transport it to the second press. There, the end cap is placed in the tool for calibration by the handling system. After calibration, the end cap is removed by the handling system and collected in a box.
